Biography

My name is Max Crowley, and I am a Gothic metal artist from Rutland, VT. I have opened for many bands, such as “Humdinger & the Bucksnort," "Brotality," etc. My sound has been compared to: 

  • Cradle of Filth
  • Type-O-Negative
  • Ghost
  • Lorna Shore
  • and many others

My most notable influences are bands like Toto, Invent Animate, and Lorna Shore.

I have performed in Vermont since 2019 and have performed in New York State. I have drawn up to 300 people to a single show and have estimated nearly 400 monthly listeners on Spotify.

I have also been attending Berklee College of Music for the last couple of years and have been recognized through the school as a guitarist, film composer, and instrumentalist. 

Recent highlights:

  • Released a full-length album titled "Midnight Dreary: The Raven of Whitechapel."
  • Along with the popular single "BlackRain," which has been featured on Vermont's news sites and many blog posts.
  • Performed at Rutland City Pride Fest in VT (2025/2026 and will be back in 2027).
  • Attending Berklee/Graduating in the Spring of 2027.
